Après les arrivées de Patrick Mwaungulu et Lanjesi Nkhoma en 2024, le TP Mazembe pourrait encore piocher du côté du Malawi. Plusieurs médias malawites dont 442 Malawi ont annoncé que le club congolais serait sur le point de conclure un accord avec Nyasa Big Bullets pour le joueur.

Le source susmentionnée a annoncé que le TP Mazembe aurait pris l’avantage sur le dossier finaliser pour le transfert de Chikumbutso Salima. Le club congolais aurait formulé une offre financière nettement supérieure à celle proposée par le Simba SC de Tanzanie, également sur la piste de ce joueur sensation en championnat malwite. Le transfert de l’attaquant devrait avoir lieu en juin.
